Our Puppies come with a 2 Year Written Health Guarantee, CKC registration (non-breeding contract unless prior approval), 6 weeks accidental health insurance, large bag of food and a puppy starter pack.

Our clients do not choose their puppies. I gather as much information about what our client’s are looking for in a dog. Gender, coat and color. What previous dogs have they grown up with, owned or lived with? What they loved and disliked about these dogs. Knowing the role that the puppy/dog will have in their home and family is very important. I try to learn about their home life, family dynamics, work & social schedules and environment as much as possible. This information, along with spending vast amounts of time with our puppies on s daily basis, gives me a far greater ability to match a puppy with a family. This has been a system that has worked very well for us, our dogs and the families.

Our puppies begin their lives as house dogs. They are born and raised in the nursery off our kitchen. From day one they are liberally handled. My team of “puppy handlers” take their jobs very seriously, by the time your puppy is a few weeks old they have been snuggled, carried about and played with endlessly. When they are ready to leave, they are very well socialized group.  As age and weather permit, they are given lots of opportunity for outdoor play. Initially it is in the sun porch (which has been thoroughly cleaned and disinfected prior to each litter) attached to the front of our home with their mother. Other outdoor adventures are post vaccinations and are joined by the other dogs, the cats, my children and myself. We try to expose the puppies to as many surfaces (lino, carpet, wood, etc), sights (chickens, outdoor cats, etc) and sounds (the hustle and bustle that is part of a busy young house, quads, guns, to name a few) are possible before sending them to their new homes.

Puppies are wormed  for the first time at the age of 2 weeks and then every two weeks until they go home, or are 3 months. They are then done monthly until 6 months. After that I do all my dogs every 4 months.

The health and well being of our dogs is of the utmost importance to us. Our puppies are weaned onto a quality food and go home with a large supply. We find that it is much easier for the new family and on the puppy, with a large supply of food on hand. Saves them having to get to a pet store right away and easier to transition to whichever brand/type of food they choose to feed their puppy without disrupting his/her little digestive system

Your puppy will receive his/her first vaccination at approximately 7 weeks. He will also be micro chipped, have a full check up with our veterinarian and be registered (as a non-breeding dog) with the Canadian Kennel Club.

Your puppy will leave with a collar, training line, blanket (heavily scented of litter mates & Mom), toys, couple weeks supply of food, six weeks of accidental health insurance (which is activated when the puppies leave for their new homes) and a lifetime of support from us.
